Tickets Still Available for Acclaimed Magic Show in San Angelo
SAN ANGELO, TX – The public has spoken and SAPAC has listened. From the stages of Broadway to the city of San Angelo comes a show like this city has never seen before.
On Tuesday, March 3rd, the San Angelo Performing Arts Center will be presenting “The Illusionists.” The critically acclaimed Broadway show is a family-friendly performance that showcases some of the world’s most incredible illusionists and magicians with “jaw-dropping talents.”
The show has been wowing audiences for the past five years with illusions, close-up magic, mentalism, daring escapes, and technological spectacle. San Angeloans will have the opportunity to experience a world-class act without having to leave the city. Beginning at 7:30 p.m., the show promises fun and awe for audiences of all ages.
“As art, music, band, and orchestra are being taken out of schools we want to have culturally aware programs, as is part of SAPAC’s mission to provide them to San Angelo." said Berkeley Puckitt, Executive Director of SAPAC.
To ensure that everyone has the opportunity to attend, SAPC has found ways to make the ticket prices accessible to all. Tickets begin at $39 and range up to $69 per person, significantly more affordable in comparison to other venues in their tour. The event will be held at the renovated Murphey Performance Hall that seats 1,300 patrons.
“The renovation of the City Hall Auditorium enabled us to have the capacity to have this type of show in San Angelo," said Puckitt.
Starting Thursday morning the San Angelo Performing Arts Center will be offering a family four-pack package that will allow 2 adults to purchase regular priced tickets and purchase two tickets for children at half price. Tickets can be purchased online at sanangelopac.org, by calling the box office at 325-284-2825, or in person at 82 Gillis St.
As a bonus, a Meet-and-Greet with members of "The Illusionists" has been added after the show. For $50, patrons can meet members of the show, have their photograph taken with at least two members of the group and receive a souvenir from SAPAC.
As the group makes their way across the United States, they will visit cities like San Diego, El Paso, San Antonio, Austin, Topica, Phoenix, Portland, and Los Angeles.
