First in Texas Trampoline Park to Open in San Angelo Just Before Christmas
SAN ANGELO, TX — A new attraction for kids and parents alike is coming to San Angelo off the Loop 306 access road just behind Lowe's building supplies that is located on Sherwood Way at the Loop.
Ultimate Air Trampoline Park, a business that provides exactly what it seems, is currently under construction with the hopes of being open just in time for Christmas break this December.
Michelle Kearby, the general manager, hopes the park can provide a fun, safe place for parents to take their kids after school or on the weekend. Complete with a trampoline area to play basketball, dodgeball, or just bounce, customers will also be treated to a one of a kind ninja experience. The "ninja course" will challenge its participants with an "American Ninja Warrior" type obstacle course. Kearby said there is no age limit to try it, but it will be difficult and will take strength and size that not all ages have.
In addition to the trampolines and ninja course, they will also have concessions, a viewing area for parents, seating (including massage chairs), ziplines, and a rock wall. There will also be a designated six years old and younger section. "Anything you need to blow a day, you can do here," co-owner Buddy Caubble said.
WATCH:
There are currently four other Ultimate Air Trampoline Park locations in Oklahoma, Missouri, Arkansas, and Maui, but this will be the first in Texas. It is also the only location that will have the ninja course.
The park is in the process of hiring a minimum of 30-40 part time employees. They will have a hiring day on Thursday, November 21 where Kearby will be in the roughly 30,000 square foot building taking applications between 3 and 6 p.m. Kearby said they will keep more applications on file than employees they hire initially, in order to ensure a workforce large enough to handle their growth.
They plan on having adult training classes led by professional trainers on the trampolines at some point in the future but not initially. Kearby said it will be a fun way for anyone to burn a ton of calories. People will also be able to schedule birthday parties or rooms once it opens.
