in Local Restaurant Entrepreneur Arrested for Forgery
I could tell long ago he's not that sharp to begin with. Dinning at his restaurant the waitress ask me what kind of salad dressing I would like to have. I said Italian would be great. I'm not kidding she said we don't have Italian. Italian restaurant with no Italian salad dressing.

Wow. Apparently, you're completely made of ass, unlike previous expectations of just 'mostly.'
The food was so good, but the last 10 years it has not been good.
Some years ago some work amigos and I were having lunch at ZD's. An out-of-town family, which included a teen-aged boy, wandered in and was seated at a table adjacent to ours. The boy promptly ordered two hamburgers. We thought this was going to be interesting.
The waitress attending this family blinked and said, "Young man, please understand. Our hamburgers are pretty big."
The kid bowed up and insisted on ordering two burgers. The waitress again recommended he reconsider his request. At this point the father said, rather rudely, "Bring my boy what he asked for!"
Okay, fine, turkey (as she clearly thought but didn't say).
The kid's eyes bugged out when the waitress lugged out two tribe-sized burgers and enough fries to feed a platoon of starving Marines after a week of doing exercises. He struggled to finish one of the burgers and about half of that burger's fries, and didn't touch the rest of the meal he demanded. The family paid out, hopefully leaving a big tip for the waitress, and left rather meekly.
My amigos and I found the whole experience richly amusing.

Joe, me lad...
Ding-Dong is seriously infected with the Negative View Of Everything virus, and he risks infecting everyone around him with the same malady.
I will say again: I am glad I don't know him. I suspect his mere walking into a room sucks all the oxygen out of it and replaces it with something that doesn't smell too good.
Battle on, dude.
Ding Bat you fool. This is very much a local story. As hard as we work bringing you the news for free, and to think you’ve enjoyed real-time posting privileges here for years, this is how you treat us? Later, dude. I think it’s time for you to retire. Bye!
So True Cajun.... Just wish we had something more to choose from besides the Slander-Times and this place who feels it's more important to report news from other places around the country over our own news that we never know anything about or never get a follow up to something if they do occasionally report something locally.........

Is drastically reduced on sewage soaked pavement.
Wish in one hand and spit (sorta) in the other and see which one gets full first.
That's a lotta wishing, sounds like you need to start spitting.
Big deal, who cares.... Surely there's some San Angelo news to report.... Maybe something about where's the missing street sign at Cloud Street and Paint Rock road, or maybe about the dead deer on the side of the road by the Walmart North entrance, or maybe even something about why gasoline is 7 cents higher at the Stripes store at Southland and Knickerbocker compared to the Stripes store at 39th and N. Chadbourne.... At least it would be local news we could read about...........
Hopefully the new owners will try something new like sending food out of the kitchen worth eating when they take over......

Massively outdated and is so because of the exorbitant salaries our city officials pay themselves.

And we wonder why large companies won’t relocate here...this place is corrupt. We publicize the bad & hide the good. Our freeway is named after one such corrupt person that openly talked about not wanting San Angelo to grow & to keep it a “retirement town”. That went away a while ago when taxes & real estate went up & wages stayed the same.
COSA is one of the most ill-prepared cities I have ever seen. The city manager & council act like nothing will ever happen to our infrastructure & when it does, they go about repairs haphazardly. They can’t even repair simple potholes in nearly all the streets, so why assume they can fix a 24” sewer main - pathetic!
